A new, highly ambitious renovation subsidy program for old houses is set to launch in February 2026, providing a strong boost to the real estate market and offering a solution to thousands of owners with closed or dilapidated properties. The program, with a total budget of €500 million, concerns over 750,000 vacant and old houses across Greece, aiming to reintegrate them into the market and utilize them for owner-occupation or leasing.
